- Studio Art: No portfolio required
- Drama: No audition required
SOCIAL SCIENCES
- Psychology: 3.60 GPA
- All others: 3.50 GPA

NATURAL SCIENCES & MATHEMATICS

Some USA high school curricula do not permit a student to take two of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics in the Grade 12 year. Students applying from such curricula must take one Grade 12 science course and have completed the second science course in Grade 11
AP Courses and Transfer Credit
Students can receive advanced standing credit at Bishop’s University for most AP exams completed with a score of 4 or better. View the current AP Transfer Chart for details. An official score report sent from the College Board is required.
Required Supporting Documents: All Applicants
- Latest high school transcript, including courses in progress and future term courses showing final or in-progress grades.
- School grading chart and/or school profile.
- While not required, information such as SAT/ACT, class rank, senior-level courses available at your school, teacher recommendations and a personal statement will assist us when reviewing your application.

How to apply for Bishop’s University Undergraduate Admission as an American candidate
March 1st is considered the deadline for submitting an online application for Fall. Also, the deadline to submit the Entrance Awards and Bursaries application.
The undergraduate application form is for anyone looking to apply to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
Start with these steps to apply for undergraduate admission.
- To successfully submit an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Certificate application form, you must make a $65 CAD application fee (non-refundable). You will be asked to submit this payment via credit card at the end of the application, so have your information ready.
- After submitting the payment, you will have the option to upload any supporting documents with your application. If you do not have your supporting documents ready now, you can submit them to the Admissions Office via your myBU Applicant Portal (information below), as a PDF email attachment to admissions@ubishops.ca, by post c/o Admissions Office, or in person during our regular business hours at a later time.

Once an application has been submitted an applicant will receive their “myBU” Applicant Portal login information via email within 24 hours. It is via the Applicant Portal that students can follow along the most up-to-date status of their application, upload any missing documents to complete their application file, access key resources and information about the university.
